By some of the things I am reading, should I have booked Paradisus Palma Real instead of Paradisus Punta Cana? More things are written about PR. Any advice?

Well your checkbook likes the choice you made. I'm quite sure you will also.Paradisus Punta Cana is also very nice, good service and food,beautiful grounds,great pool etc... I'm wondering if you might be able to get a tour of the Palma Real while you're down there-could be worth looking into if you're interested.In the meantime I wouldn't second guess yourself-you're staying at pretty nice place.

We just returned from the paradisus palma real. It was beautiful. We are seasoned travellers to the carribean, it was a solid 4+ resort. If you have the money, I think it's worth the extra. We did the royal service and the beach was georgous, with large king size beds with cushions and straw huts. Top shelf liquor and good food. For an all-inclusive, I thought this was very nice. We usually don't do the all inclusive, but if you want a quiet afternoon, and restful vacation, this is a great spot. The beach was very nice.
